Toronto Zombie Walk 2011

Well, it's that time of year again when the people of Toronto let their inner zombies out and take to the streets! Braaaaaiiiinnnnnnns Happy Halloween! :)

Le temps est arriver où les résidents de Toronto laissent leurs zombies intérieurs sortir pour envahir les rues de la ville! Joyeuse Halloween!

The kids were cute and creepy as always.

Occupy zombies was also a reoccurring theme this year.

While in Maine, I did this fun little photo shoot with my sister on the beach. Had some fun with some overexposure on the last picture.

J'ai improvisé une petite session de photo avec ma soeur pendant nos vacances dans le Maine. Je me suis amusé à surexposer la dernière photo.

Old Orchard Beach Amusement Park

I've been going to Old Orchard Beach on vacation since I was a little girl and it never seems to change. The same amusement park with the same rides has been around since I was a baby. This year, I brought my camera along and tried to capture the old feel of the area. These pictures didn't turn out so great quality wise (pixely and too fuzzy at times) but I'm still happy with the staging and framing. So, I thought I would share them anyhow and hopefully convey a bit of the atmosphere of the place.

Cela fait depuis que je suis toute petite que moi et ma famille allons à Old Orchard Beach en vacances et la place ne semble jamais changer. Le même parc d'amusement avec les mêmes manèges existe depuis ma tendre enfance. Cette année, j'ai amener ma caméra avec moi et j'ai essayé de capturer l'atmosphère de la place. La qualité des photos n'est pas super mais je suis très satisfaite avec le cadrage des éléments. Donc, j'ai quand même décidé de partager les photos.

It's been a while...

I had the pleasure to be a volunteer for the Franco-Fêtes at Harbourfront Center this weekend. On Saturday morning, I was assigned to the Kromatik event. Kromatik is a group of four women who do superb face paintings. I was asked to take some pictures and here are some of the results.

J'ai eu le plaisir d'être une bénévole pour les Franco-Fêtes ce weekend. Samedi matin, j'ai été assignée à l'activité Kromatik. Kromatik est un groupe de quatre femmes qui font des maquillage vraiment épatants. On ma demandé de prendre des photos de l'évenement et voici quelqu'uns des résultats.

 

Alcaz

I must say that I really enjoyed being surrounded by french music throughout the weekend at Franco-Fêtes. One of the bands I had the pleasure to listen to was a duo from Marseille named Alcaz. 

Ce fut un grand plaisir pour moi d'etre encerclée de musique française durant la fin de semaine. Un des groupes dont j'ai eu le plaisir d'écouter etait Alcaz, un duo provenant de Marseille.-

Et bonne St-Jean!! (un peu en retard mais bon...)

Aaahhh Spring is here

I went to walk along the waterfront today. I could not have asked for better weather! The sun was out, it was warm, it was awesome!

Je suis allé me promener au bord de l'eau aujourd'hui. Je n'aurais pu demander de la meilleure température! The soleil brillait, il faisait chaud et c'était super!
